The Great Myth of the Great Wall

According to most people, the Wall of China is so big it can be seen from space. It turns out, however, that it really can’t. In fact, no man made object can be seen from space. According to NASA, seeing the Great Wall of China from the moon would be like looking at a single strand of human hair from a distance of two miles. They will admit that you can see the Great Wall from a low orbital distance of 200 miles. However, it must be perfect conditions, you have to have perfect vision, and be willing to look for something that is the same color as the ground, and probably as thin as a pencil!
